With the fast and complicated world haunting the lives of the majority, it has been very difficult to maintain one’s diet. It is indeed difficult to adjust time for exercise which is a very important part of a healthy life. It holds more importance when it comes to small children. One has to be very particular, cautious and careful of the same. Not all plump and cute children are healthy. Obesity is a growing factor of concern with children who’re not even in their teens. In fact the rate of increase in obesity amongst young children has risen drastically in the last 15 years. Eating habits play very vital role in obesity.

Eating junk food, less time for outdoor activities and exercises, unhealthy eating habits have a direct impact on obesity. The risk and medical complications are increased due to obesity amongst children. With more and more families have opted for eating food outside home, the problem has aggravated further. Outside food is not that healthy, in fact it is less in nutrient values and more in fats and cholesterol. It has been proved right and again that over seventy percent of obese children go on to become obese adults. Moreover, children with obesity are more prone towards heart problems, diabetes, asthma, etc. Obesity can also be caused due to genetics. Lifestyles are equally responsible. The easy availability of junk food or the unhealthy fast food is a bane to the younger generation as far as obesity issues are concerned.
