There is a particular method in which you prepare the cabbage soup and then have a detailed and systematic plan for seven days.
This is definitely a good option for many (provided it really works). The major advantage is the short time frame it works in. It just requires seven days to a show result, that sounds very short, and it is just a week now that sounds even shorter. Let’s see how the seven day plan works?
The first day of the diet plan starts with fruits. It says that you can have any fruit that you like except banana. Along with only fruits you would have to consume the cabbage soup. The second day you have all kinds of veggies and the soup at dinner. The third day is a combination of the first and the second day i.e. fruits, veggies and soup. The forth day is all about up to 6 bananas and skim milk along with the soup. The fifth day is about 10-20 ounces of beef, 6 to 8 glasses of water, a can of tomatoes and the soup. Day six is all the vegetables and the beef along with the soup. The last day is unsweetened fruit juice, brown rice, vegetables and the soup. One good thing about the diet plan is that it does not restrict the amount of intake.

The word ‘smoking’ reminds one of dreadful diseases such as emphysema, lung cancer, heart disease, and other diseases related to the respiratory system. As per the survey in USA, nearly 18% of their population has been victims of cigarette smoking and resulted in premature deaths. The figures are not very much appreciable world wide as well. Little is known about smoking and that it causes the essential minerals to drain out.
The reason behind this is very simple. Cigarette contains nicotine, which blocks the respiratory track. It also prohibits the absorption of vitamin C into the body. Vitamin C acts as an anti oxidant, thereby protecting the body from free radicals. Thus the body cells do not get damaged and cardiovascular diseases are prevented. More the frequency of smoking, more is the obstruction to the entry of vitamin C. To nullify this effect, smokers should increase their vitamin intake by 2000 mg/day.
It’s very difficult to quit smoking, once one gets addicted to it. To protect the body from the harms caused by smoking, various measures such as meditation, exercise, etc. should be incorporated. This may help in reducing stress. Many people are under the impression that smoking reduces stress. It is advisable that instead of resorting to these artificial methods, the above mentioned methods would work out. A healthy conversation is essential between doctors and smokers. This will help the smokers to develop the right attitude, the required enthusiasm and ultimately quit smoking. Let’s hope to have a smoke-free world!
